Canvas Overview

Watch and learn the basics of creating a Canvas course. We cover topics like publishing content to modules, creating assignments, uploading files, hyperlinking and finally publishing your course so your students have access to it.

Building a Front-Page

Learn to build a front page that captures the attention of your students and orients them to what is the most up to date and newsworthy information. In this video, we learn to create pages, embed pictures, videos, create hyperlinks and how to set it up as a home page.

Customize Menus

Displaying too many menus in Canvas could confuse students. Disabling unwanted menus creates a fluid environment for your students. In this course, we will learn to disable/enable menus in our course.

Attendance Tool

Activating the attendance tool in Canvas is a few clicks away. Begin marking absences, tardiness and running reports with the tool. Also, learn how to unlink attendance from the grade book.
